I use to watch the Indy 500 every year from the time I was about 9 years old. I still remember the 71 race when
the Dodge Challenger hit the photographers booth. They did have some cool pace cars over the years. I stopped
watching the Indy 500 many years ago when they split and made the IRL.

WOW a flash back :clap:,,,,,,,,, I remember that too I was about 10 when Mopar got the chance to be the Pace Car talk about disappointment with the crash wha Mopar built the best drag cars and engines but was so uncool to the masses finally a chance in the spot light and they crashed :banghead , I think Mopar's crappy steering set up of all power and no road feel had a hand in that incident :crazy:


Still love my Mopar's and some how there cool now :lol:

A guy I used to work with has one of the '78 silver over black Vettes.
It is pretty nice for sure.
