This guy brought a bike in the back of his Touareg at the shop yesterday. Its a city honda.
Its very rare and pretty valuable. He said in about 1982 the honda civic when you bought a car they
came with it. You can unfold it and ride it around the city? Its very quiet and compact. He said he
paid like 2700 for it.

After a quick google search, it appears the name of the bike is the Honda MotoCompo. It was launched alongside the Honda City car, the 1st gen Civic. The citys trunk was designed to have the bike fit perfectly inside. It doesn't look like the bike came with the car, it was sold separately. It was made between 1981-1983. It would be cool if another car manufacturer did a car/bike combo today. Thanks for sharing the photos.

I think I read that some number of the cars actually did have a bike included as part of the deal.

Yea, I have the original road test in an issue of Motorcyclist Magazine. I think it did like 26 mph.

a friend of mine has one. He bought it in Japan when he was stationed there in the '80's. From what I understand, it fits where the spare tire would go.

cute little things.
