I wonder if he was using the prop wash to stay up as there can't be much room for fuel storage.

Interesting thought Ric.
Since the video was a military plane and my assumption is that it can't take off on it's own and probably can only go distances with prop wash, I suspect it might be useful for clandestine ops programs. Launch from a plane at reasonably low altitude, and it drives / glides in to the target area. Probably too small to be seen on radar. The wings did look a little bit stealthy. Kind of like a tiny one way, one man plane.

I can't think of any applications other than military or county fairs.
