A group meets every first Thursday of the month at a place called the Steer Inn in Indianapolis. I took my S3 over there to meet up with some other people and see what they are riding. It was a really nice evening, the turnout was very good (about 100 bikes), and I met some nice folks.

I posted here because some of this is triple related but some is not. I hope this is a good place to post this stuff.

Here are a few pics that I shot.

Nice Yamaha RZ350

There were some old British bikes that I should have gotten a picture of but didn't. Instead, I have a couple of the new Triumphs that are late models that look like the old bikes. I really like these.

And a copy of my first bike - Honda 450 CL (I think). Cleaner than mine ever was!

And then there was this. Does anyone here recognize this bike? It was really superb.

I forgot to bring paper and pencil so I could get some contacts. I made a few friends and will be back there next month. I had many nice comments and conversations on/about my S3 and found a guy with a pile of S3 parts. His name is Bob. That is all I know till September. :banghead

Good stuff Kevin - I dig the Honda 450.

Barry, my memory of the Honda 450 twin is that the vibrations were brutal. After about 40 minutes both hands felt like they were holding a high voltage wire - but I kept riding anyway.

Oxford - nice job spotting this for me. The build quality on this is really something to see. I can't imagine selling this bike. Or what the price must have been.

I'm going to have to try and make it there one of these days. Is that down on the southside ? I may be on an RD400 or my H2 :)

Scully - it is in Irvington on 10th street just east of Emerson at the Steer Inn. They meet every 1st Thursday of each month. Let me know if you decide to check it out.

Are there any other forum members in the Indy area?

PM me if interested in getting a group together to ride to the Vintage Bike Night in September.
