After two trips to the guy's house, I made it home this morning with my new to me 2 stroke :D

This came from an estate sale on Craig's list. The deceased's brother is the Executor and had $155 on it. it is a 6.5 HP 2 stroke with a Dura Force engine, commercial self propelled with bagger. I will more than likely remove the bagger. My parts Lawnboy I dragged out of the farm dump has all the pieces to convert it back to side exit. It had old last years gas in it, ran like ass and smoked like a train. I dumped that out and put a fresh load of 32-1 with Klotz Supertechniplate in it and she fired on the 2nd pull. After about 10 minutes she purred like a kitten and I spent the next two hours in the 90 degree heat working on my overgrown ditch bank. No more ruined 4 stroke lawnmowers from the ditchbank steep incline  I have thrown a rod in 2 Briggs and Strattons this year alone... Gotta get ready to go to work...

Looks like a 10323 Tim with DuraForce 6.5 HP engine. If it surges when running, I can tell you which parts to replace to fix it. They actually put in Snowblower throttle plates in there either by accident or to pass EPA back whenfrom the factory. You also have to replace pilot jet to fix the surge upping 2 sizes. I have a 10550 DF I did this fix on and it's a machine now. Yours is not really a commercial even though it says commercial engine on shroud decal. The true LB commercials (with only a few exceptions)will have large fuel tanks (usually orange) and orange ball bearing wheels. I know you are a member at MTF so the active sub forum there for 2 cycle LBs is the walk behind section. I have 5 of the 2 cycle walk behinds right now with 2 of them beings LBs. Congrats!

Also- if you didn't get a mulch plate in the deal, I have one to give you as I have several. 8-) These machines are fine mulchers and the hot ticket is a Gator blade by Oregon Manufacturing. I rarely bag with any of my mowers- one of the few "green" things I actually do. :?

Evans, you are the man as always. Thanks for the free education!!!I haven't fooled with a Lawnboy since the 70s. Yes damn bifocals Dura Force, not Pure LOL. No surging at all ,after new gas runs like a clock. The self propelled makes it so nice on ditch bank. I wil take you up on the mulch plate once I figure out if it has one or not...

When I was about 6 years old my grandfather let me mow his lawn with a old 2 stroke lawn boy. I still remember the smell
and the power that thing had. So it was a early age when I was bit by the 2 stroke bug
