My son Charles put together a 1980 GS 1000 L last summer vacation. This past week we took it out to the local track and he did quite well with it. Check out this pass he made against a GSXR 1000 on you tube ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YSp65ER97YI

He may have beat the gsxr to the eighth but he was coming fast ! The boy killed him out of the hole. Now Charles is wondering how fast he could be on the gsxr !
