Post subject:	anyone ever own a voyager 1200?
I'm looking at a friends 1997 1200 voyager possibly to buy. I want a bike to store at my great aunts house when I visit her. I was gonna bring a triple there but don't feel like hauling one up from Tucson right now. It has 16k on the clock, he just dumped a grand into getting the carbs completely rebuilt, has new tires and has always been in covered parking, Not a scratch on the bike and everything works as it should. He wants $3500 which is a little more than I want to spend on a bike that will sit most of the time. Any thoughts?

"which is a little more than I want to spend on a bike that will sit most of the time. " If that is really the case than you answered your own question.... I'm sure you could get an equally fun bike for 1/2 the price that you will barely use.

Trying to pass iffy the ole lady a little. I have enough"me" bikes. Since I sold the wing she won't ride on anything else. Says the concours 1400 to fast. Looking to sort of fill the void
