In an effort to broaden my services, I am willing to offer free crankshaft rebuilding on a first come, first served basis. What I am looking for are any two stroke crankshafts other than S1,2,3; H1 and H2 triples.
The fundamentals in two stroke crankshaft rebuilding are basically the same. The “tooling” is the limiting factor. I have the means for producing the tooling; however I need some “Guinea pigs” to produce the jigs. I will require four things from the customer;
1. The crankshaft
2. A "junk" crankshaft with which to experiment
3. The parts for the rebuild, and
4. Time to manufacture the tooling.
I am willing to cover the labor and will not attempt anything beyond my capabilities. This will definitely help me to become more diverse in the services I provide as well as help the two stroke community by offering an additional resource. The only cost to the customer in addition to the parts being provided is the shipping. PM me with what you have if you are willing to “volunteer”. I think this is a good idea
