I have, apparently, been living under a rock. I completely missed the epic NOS thread of the Gixxer forum when it made the rounds. I don't remember seeing it come up on the old forum either. So many facepalms, and I have to share:

Oh yeah, that one. If I remember it right, it turned out the guy was kidding, and started it just to see what reaction he'd get. He did keep it going quite a while.
