He's looking for a middle weight cruiser. Something not to big, but interstate capable. He's stepping up from a 650 Nighthawk. Nearly everything I see is 80's and $1500ish like his Nighthawk, or early 2000's and newer and $4k+. The 90's bikes that should fit in the middle just seem to be missing, and it's not just cruisers. Even sport bikes in this range are no where to be seen. I do occasionally see bikes in this segment, but not nearly as many as you'd think there should be.
I've been watching the Ninja 250s for myself, I keep thinking I need one
Around here older ones are about $2K, newer ones are priced high enough that you're better off buying new
