im trying to make a deal on 2 76 750 sei's project bikes ..from what i've seen parts look scarce on ebay.. in a nutshell one has complete exhaust (black not chrome) one only has a black 6 into 1 header that goes to the mid part of swing arm and thats all.. trying to pick them both up for 3k. anyone have a hotline on benelli parts or any experience with these bikes, (titles will be a challenge but i plan on about 150 per bike and 3 months to get titles)

The way I understand it for NC, the way to get a title for a bike with no paperwork is to post a bond, get the title, and then get the bond back after a couple years if no one steps up and says you stole his bike. Simple, but not very simple.

i had to go thru the imdemnity bond processc($129.00) bond and dmv inspectors report (took bike to them) that got fordwarded to state dmv office and was told 60-90 days on my 69 h1( in nc any bike over 35 years olr w/o a nc title requires an instection by a ncdmv inspector).. patiently waiting on title been close to 60 days... i'll have a nice low vin 69 (849 frame with 857 engine) up for sale sooner or later..

They look in really good shape most likely stored inside their entire life. Might be a good deal especially if you get them both and sell one. As rare as that bike is, I might be tempted to sell one but would most likely keep both for parts.

The internet tells me the engine is based on the Honda CB500, so it's possible that Honda parts will work at least for some things.

You nailed it, they were oh so close to making truly incredible motorcycles.

I always liked the Sei, especially the 900.
