What was your first motorcycle?

My first legal street bike, "way back" in 1977 or 78, the bike I learned to ride the streets on, was a 1972 Kawasaki H1B

First "motorcycle" I ever had was a 3.5HP Tecumseh "tiller" powered beast that I believe came from either Montgomery Wards or JC Penny, I do remember it had a gold frame, I think.....

Earliest experiences came on friends Honda Z50's, a CT70's and a Steen 100 (Private label Hodaka).

Had several used bikes until '72.
My first 'New Bike' was a 1972 Kawasaki 100, G5, yellow.
My Dad suprised me at Christmas.
I kept the brochures and remember the 'Tri-Stars'

My first and only motorcycle is my current '72 H2, that I bought from the original owner in '78. I enjoyed taking my licence test on it.

1969 Honda Cb350 (6 volt). Bought from my math teacher for $150 in 1977. He had parked it in about 1973. I got it running on four year old gas! Then the head pipes fell off!! Slightly faster than the wild dogs that chased me around Rock Hill S. Carolina. MINI BIKES, MOPEDS BEFORE THAT..............

1970(?) Honda CL450. I bought it wrecked and brought it back to life. That started a life-long habit. I have only purchased one new bike in my life.
