Post subject:  Spent the day working on the wife's FZR

I like spending my Saturdays puttering in the garage and it was time to organize the mess. It's hot here so by 8am I was cleaning and trying to find a place for all my crap.
I just changed jobs last month and ended my collision repair days so I have way to many tools at home. By 12 things started to look more sorted so put the wife's
FZR400 on the stand and changed the oil, tuned it up and gave it a good clean.

At 5pm it finally dropped below 90degs here so took a ride up the mountain. Learned the radiators on these is way to small and had to run the fan most of the way to keep it below 3/4 gauge. Note to self, next project, replace FZR radiator with one from a 600 :D She's a pretty bike and fun to ride but can be hot headed, kinda like the wife.

love the fzr 400!!!!
that is the best handling bike I've ever ridden. Not that powerful but great in the twisties , dont have to let off the throttle for tight turns. Its like you think about turning and it carves out the turn on its own .
Any good rides in Temecula?

The 76 to S6 Palomar Mt. is a great ride, not the best for a triples handling or jetting though :D Lots of video clips on youtube to see. I take the H2 up
most weekends and head to Mother's Kitchen for lunch. Lots of bench racing in the parking lot and always stories from the old guys like me about
how fast the H2 was back in the day.
