Sitting at a light at 10:00 this morning; temp is 32 degrees with a 5-10 mph wind today.
A guy on a BMW rides buy with jeans and a jacket; no monkey suit and didn't see any plug-ins for heat
You gotta have only 1 means of transportation or a really bad jones to ride your bike in this weather

Youth helps too. I used to ride the H2 to the U of MD all winter. Some mornings it was 15F when I left.

It's scary here when the folks from SC have to explain DC street slang to the Texans
(kidding)
Jim I didn't like driving my 66 Chevelle to Univ of MD in the 70's as it wouldn't get that toasty warm thanks to a partially clogged heater core; if I had to ride a bike I would have never graduated!

I rode my H2 to school from around '78 to '80. A friend of mine also rode his H2 and sometimes his A7. I don't remember other triples there, although there must have been others occasionally. There really weren't may motorcycles on campus, considering the 20,000 students. It was really a good setup though, because back then you could get away with parking a bike in a lot more places than the campus cops would let you park a car, so you could park close to your classes. Do you remember seeing or hearing (our three Kaws had chambers) triples there? That would have been us.

Looks cold - never seen that white stuff here! Gotta love those huge number plates on bikes from the 'ole Dart! How long before you'll have to put one on the front!?
