I remember watching that movie on TV in the early 70's when my parents went out to a party and got the hired hand to babysit my brother and I, only because the regular sitter wasn't available... How bad could that be eh???
It was my first hot rod, soft porn movie... I was about 6 at the time.

That lady's name is Gilda Texter. She was born November 26, 1946. She was a wardrobe and costume specialist, and 1971's Vanishing Point was her first, and only movie role. She was also featured in the first part of the movie, as the girl Barry Newman, as the policeman, comforted after being raped.

1970 white on white Dodge Challenger.

There were a lot of younger actors in that film that went on to become bigger stars later in their careers.

Same here forgot all about the girl/ Honda scene, the movie overall was kinda cheesy big crash at end in slow mo reveals a Camaro being pulled by a chain into the Dozers (allegedly) .

I really thought the movie was crap.
Thought Barry Newman was a terrible actor. Loved the Challenger R/T !

I liked Bullitt way more and thought VP was a cheesy attempt to capitalize on the Bullett movie.
