Patpong is very close, just around the corner - very crowded and it was already too dark to take good photos... Barry, why don't you fly here with your Mrs, we'll be here in Bangkok up to mid-march! Great place to spend some time and chat about triples and other stuff! :thumbup: :wave:

HaHa! I don't see Liz and I making Bangkok anytime soon, we're planning for Northern India now though.

I was there for 7 days back in the 90's when I worked for Oracle. At night I would hit Patpong - LOVE fleamarket kind of things, bought a lot of junk trinkets to give out as gifts, haggled for a week on a tea set. Was able to do a overnight river cruise - don't remember where :o :o :o

I took a LOT of pictures of all the motorcycles and tuktuks, people were very friendly. I seem to take a lot of pictures of motorcycles and telephone wiring wherever I travel.
