BMW Oil Can Travel Case - great for 2-stroke oil too !!!

Yes. BMW's take roughly 10k to 15k miles to fully break in and they will use a small amount of oil in the process. When it stops using oil you know it's broke in. Mine uses about 1/2 pint every couple thousand miles.

A friend of mine has a new K1300 GT (its done approx 10,000 miles) and it uses about 1litre per 1000 miles :shock: .....he's not a happy chappy

Apparently this isnt unusual :o
