I am planning to race Spa next year on my Z1. It does not have a charging circuit, so I need some recommendations on bright lights that do not consume too much power.

Thanks Dave

Too bad you aren't racing an early GPZ750 with automotive style alternator on it. Those alts are the same inside as Mazda, and can have upwards of 125 amp outputs.

A clever fellow could possibly graft a small car alternator to the left end of the crankshaft, fully contained, and a small battery down low on the bike, and get away with some serious amperage lights.

If you have never been to Spa Francorchamps, YOU AND LORRAINE ARE GONNA LOVE IT, and the surrounding countryside.
