Post subject:  Football / Soccer Fans
I'm taking my son to watch to watch the British Airways - Football Legends Invitational Tournament, this evening. Participating 6 a side Legends Teams from

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United, Blackburn Rovers, and PFA All Stars.

Should be great!! Apparently Rooney is down here in the island too, and cricket star Brian Lara is supposed to play in the PFA All Stars,

My boy is super excited and already has his Manu and Chelsea football shirts out already and plans to wear both tonight when they play. LOL

Lisa, just a late comment, i hope you had great time. Futbol/soccer is for Brits and Mid/South Euro/Americans. Ours like Canadians The Sport is ice hockey. And of course Americans have their own footboll, do not know how popular is that.

Yeah I know, but there are some Euros on board here. We had a blast!!! In the finals it was ManU vs Chelsea with ManU winning, sorry I can't remember the score. But it was a good match and the guys getting a bit physical with each other. My son was actually interviewed by Sky TV, the guy asked him who his favourite player was and Luca said "Well I don't know the old guys here, but my fav player is......." he killed me with that coz it was "Legends" teams ie older men playing. LMAO :lol:
