It looks excellent, and I like the muffler just fine. I looked up some specs... 39 RWHP (measured) and 557 lbs. wet. It seems to have lost almost half its power getting it to the wheel! |

Really nice, I had no idea about the spare kicker under the seat. Where does it go on the motor - I could not tell. |

The shaft for the kick start lever is on the left side of the engine behind the shift lever and above the safety neutral linkage. It has a rubber boot on it. It had 20 horse less than the H2 at the rear wheel. I think my G3SS would give it a run. |

Beautiful work as always! That is an unusual color for Honda as I have never seen a Hondamatic in that hue. Thanks for posting the before and after pics too. |

Mine isn't in as good shape as yours was before you started that one. These CB's are so much fun to ride, and so are the 450 Automaics, I have one of those, too. |

Remarkable work! but how do you drive? how many "gears" does it have? I had only seen one in Germany a few years ago, but I don't remember the grab handle for the passenger built into the saddle or even the right instrument made like this, it seems to me it had a normal tachometer, but maybe I'm wrong. are they specific to the American market, or are they specific to a specific year? The transmission is a 2 speed automatic, low and drive. From what I have read low was good to around 60 and drive up to 100. I would like to ride one to see how the transmission feels. The engine was only rated at 50hp so it was most likely pretty doggy. They sold them here in 1976, 1977, and 1978. |
