Here is a cool pic from the AHRMA sidecar racing at Barber in Alabama from October of last year. The sidecar monkey in the pic is Terri Korn who is Jim Korn’s wife. Jim is a member here and has been racing AHRMA for about the past 5 years or so. The Korn’s reside in Tampa FL. Jim campaigns a late 60’s Kawasaki Avenger Twin 2 Stroke. After a year or so of supporting Jim, Terri got the urge to try being a sidecar monkey and was a natural. She has some wicked crazy lean angles and has a lot of fun. Much braver than I! :!: I know many of you know them so that’s why I posted. The pic was embedded in an email from Motorcycle Classics that had a good article on the recent Barber Vintage Festival.

Thanks guys, we are having the times of our lives racing with AHRMA. Driver of the Kaw1000 vintage sidecar rig is Jeff Dixon, he and Terri have been teamed up for a couple of years now. Following Daytona, we will be racing at all of the remaining 12 events this year including some great venues - Laguna Seca, The Ridge (WA), Heartland Motorsports Park (Topeka), New Jersey Motorsports Park, and of course Barber.

Would love to try and make it to the DG meet this year, it’s a week before Kansas and on the way so might work out.

Thanks Jim. I didn't recognize Jeff Dixon, but I thought it might be someone I know who now has a COVID beard disguise. :-)
