Trailer lights suck in general. One weak point is the rubber multi-pin connectors. After a lifetime of fighting them, I finally changed all my vehicles and trailers over to sealed industrial connectors, and man it's nice to have them work when I plug them in! Agreed... it's much better to find the problem a couple weeks before the meet than the night before.
I just did a test run of the DT100, and it went well. I also fixed some little stuff on the Ninja 250 like a loose mirror and broken turn signal. Things are coming together.
