I take it you will be using one long ramp to load/unload the bikes, NOT the flat shown above??? Of course, when we raced the TZ250/TZ350 Yamaha's, and into the back of my 1983 Dodge Maxi-Van, I loaded 3 by ramp. Now, an RZ is about 100 pounds heavier than a TZ, but, getting the bikes into the van was not that hard. I think the open area, and once you get used to it, you are gonna be a 'steely eyed bike loader rocket man'!

That setup is looking great, sir.

Just this morning, very early in the morning, I watched an episode of FantomWorks, where they redid an old International Metro van. One thing they built for it was an electric loading/unloading ramp for one bike in the back in the center. With the ramp down, the bike was pushed onto the ramp, back tire sat into a recess, and the front was tied in. then, one electric switch, bike, ramp loaded itself into the van, slick as all get out. Remove went reversed, nice deal. It'd be nice on your trailer, would need a slider for the ramp side to side for all 3 bikes, but......

Two steps forward and one back. I hooked up the lights to check them and only had turn signals. Closer inspection revealed numerous splices and crumbling insulation on 20 year old wiring. So a new harness and LED light kit will be installed this weekend. Better to know now than the 14th when I am loading up.

Trailer lights suck in general. One weak point is the rubber multi-pin connectors. After a lifetime of fighting them, I finally changed all my vehicles and trailers over to sealed industrial connectors, and man it's nice to have them work when I plug them in! Agreed... it's much better to find the problem a couple weeks before the meet than the night before.

I just did a test run of the DT100, and it went well. I also fixed some little stuff on the Ninja 250 like a loose mirror and broken turn signal. Things are coming together.

Edit: I see your post above was submitted at 4:20. :)

Today I managed to get the old wiring harness off and the new one about 1/2 installed. Hopefully it will be finished up tomorrow.
