Out riding yesterday in the boonie's had a deer bolt out from the woods right to me. I braced and tucked everything in and made hard contact was able to stay upright. I was on my Bandit and it shattered the right footpeg mount and caught my right foot but was wearing my heavy steel toe boots so I only received some heavy bruising. It made a few dents in the exhaust pipe and muffler but all came out well everything considered. I was rolling 60-70 not exactly sure at impact things happened fast. Its that time of year the deer are coming out ride safe!

Wow! I was not expecting to read about such a mild outcome! I'm really glad you're OK Carl.

What time of day was it? Did the deer run off or did you get some free meat?

I am glad you are relatively unscathed my friend. Heal quick and eat some venison.

Not even the time of day when you normally watch for them. I'm glad you got some meat out of the deal though.
