Huh... we thought it was very interesting. I learned quite a bit about how the various sites use their algorithms to make money. It's probably not going to change my computing habits much, but I like knowing a little about what's going on. And the connection to polarization of the people and teen suicide was surprising too. I had no idea how much suicides have risen in recent years as "social media" have become more popular.

My wife and I watched it last night and found it very interesting. No doubt that social media has changed behavior in many.

We are doing Aus. politics on Twitter! Mid afternoon here. Then I have to debate Moto-GP on FB, first practice in a couple of hours! Then dinner, Friday grazing platter with some Italian wine.....Maybe rebuild a H2 fuel tap for the 3rd time, how do you stop these things leaking?!?

When I rebuilt mine I didn't have any particular trouble, but I did polish the seat of the diaphragm valve's plunger. As I remember I used a tapered wooden dowel with some tripoli on it.

I just went through this rebuild thing and it came down to something which I found in an old thread - and ironically, I think it was Jim's post that answered the question: there is a tiny..tiny almost clear "O" ring, on the back of the diaphragm.. this must a) be there (mine was not but stole from a second tap) and b) it must be aligned properly.

The moment I found and fixed this... problem solved.

Thanks J & Z, I'll have a look at those things.

Oh, the little one that's more like a washer made of gasket material? Yes that one too. I think I made one from gasket material using a Whitney punch with its smallest die to make the center hole, and then a larger die to cut the outer circle. It took a couple tries to get it concentric.
