I made twenty some of the cute little bears go away and you never would notice they were gone, others just took their places. I have seen 2 of them that were domesticated and appeared to be nice pets. One was trained to use the toilet or a cat box. |

I can't sleep when I hear a single rat running around in the attic. I can only imagine how noisy it would be having some raccoons running around in the attic. |

My 2 cents. Borrow or buy a high power pellet rifle. They will kill a raccoon and alot quiter than a .22. Ask the neighbor with the raccoons to run a lawnmower while shooting. |

We've had some over the past several years as well, here in Sacramento CA. I've installed a motion solar light, and plan to install several more around the house, for starters. Thanks for all of the tips fellas--I like the high powered pellet rifle; I do have several bows...but that presents its own challenges. 13 hours on Saturday for the 2nd story sunroom soffit...lots of trips up and down the ladders for this'n. Whew! A little caulking, gutter screws, and some galvanized mesh to keep the birds from starting up in the corners and I'll be done with this one. |

they are nasty and the few we trapped in auburn seem to grip the cage and try to rip the door off it. I vote to kill it be careful. |
