My friend Dave purchased this a couple years ago before being involved in a cycle accident. He's decided to "thin the herd" and offered it to me.

I know it's not a "race bike" but any thoughts on the 900cc air cooled BMW's?

If i do decide to get this, my 1993 Kawasaki ZR 1100 will be offered for sale.

Nice looking bike. Rode one just like it last year. . It's an acquired taste. I am sure any one into them loves them. Just like we love our triples.
The one for sale. I offered $3K, think he wanted $4k, good bike, low mileage Bike but needed usual servicing to get it road worthy. It was the usual black, not that nice red

Reliable and easy to ride bikes. The rear end lifts up when you hit the gas and goes down when you close the throttle.

Very different from a Kawasaki triple, you might like it for a change in pace.

They look good in red 8-) , I'd like one , have ya sat on it ? the riding position is differant on BMW hard to describe but you might notice it when your on it :think: a big foot feels akward on the pegs my size 13 felt cramped and stuck on a BMW, I still want one just the same ,BMW makes a darn good bike :!:

Probably the complete opposite of the Triples, it all depends what you want..... the gearbox is a bit crap! :|

Very special to drive peculiary if you drive it fast. you will love it or hate it and the weak point is the engine is a 4 stroke :D :D :D
Always thinking about to try to fit the 24 liters tank on a H2 :mrgreen: wonder if it will fit 8-)

I have a fiberglass 6 gallon tank for an H2, JP. That's pretty close to 24 liters. :) I thought you had a similar tank, but maybe it was someone else's motorcycle.

Maybe I'll paint mine and give it a try sometime. Of course I'd want to line it with phenolic epoxy first. There are a couple things I'm not crazy about though. One is it bolts down so it won't just pop right off like the stock tank does. Another is that it covers the front of the seat, so you can't lift the seat if it's installed. Maybe I should sell it. :?:
