I don't know a thing about turbo-bikes so I was just curious as to the quality of these parts and whether they are matched up okay to make this thing run. It looks like it would run pretty good. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1977-Kawasaki-TURBO-KZ1000-/182574385465?hash=item2a82480939:g:0WMAAOSw7U5Y965Y&vxp=mtr |

I think the Rayjay was the original turbo for that bike. But with it now being a 1200, it's probably a little on the small side, the hot side anyway. There are a ton of small turbos out there that might be a better replacement for it, aim is to get the exhaust back pressure down to keep the ex valves etc alive, plus it causes detonation, and then it isn't a motor anymore. |

I went with stainless valves, heavy duty cylinder and crank studs on my turbo bike. I have heard there are head gasket sealing issues on big block motors. I'm sure its strong. Wonder how much boost the turbo is rated for. |
