This is the other Honda I got from Leroy to get running and restore. It's a 1957 Honda ME 250 Dream. I really like the styling of this old bike and I think it's kind of cool to get to work on such unusual bikes. It had not ran for the 2 years Leroy has had it so I did the usual, clean out the fuel system, check the points and oil and it fired up on the first kick with my hand. I wish it wasn't so winter out so I could take it for a spin before it gets restored. :D

Love it, good on you, sir. Did you get to pull the valve cover off? Over head valves with rockers, or, over head camshaft?? I'd really enjoy just putting that thing around, slowly.

I get to do a full restoration on this one so I will get some good pics of all the insides, should be interesting. I think the front fender looks like a Roman helmet. ;)

It doesn't appear to need restoration, to be honest. I would leave it alone and ride it!!!
