When I was a kid, we had a 1962 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 with a Rocket Engine. The shop manual actually titled the section for the 394 cu. in. V-8 engine "Rocket Engine." In those days we had the space program to guide our designs, but the space program doesn't capture our attention any more.

I'm just not Bobber material, but they're all the rage among the young'ns. When I see knobbies on a streetbike I immediately think 'there's someone that never rode with knobbies on the street until they built that very bike.'

But of course the knobbies will be just fine for the level of street riding that will be asked of them.
