Nice, Tim. Have you tried some rubbing compound on the headlights to clear them up?

Thanks Jim.
Yep I polish them once a year right before vehicle inspection time. They clean up pretty good. The truck is rarely driven, it gets 15 MPG towing and about 17 empty so I only use it when I need it. I haul trash to the dump in it and the occasional load of firewood and sacks of feed, etc... I had it done because it is too nice a truck to let it rust up.

I found out about the headlights when my daughter bought an older Ford Escort. Wouldn't it be nice if they were made of something that could stand up to sunlight?

Nice lookin rig you have there now Tim.
1000 bucks is a great price too.

Hey Jim, you say rubbing compound will clear up the headlight plastic covers like the kits they sell???

Sure, any decent polish should. Seems to me I've heard of using toothpaste on them.

Depends on how bd they are, some need some 600 then 1500 wet sanding first.
