OK guys, understand why you are not responding to my foray into AHRMA racing because I am riding a Honda

but check this out......went up to Gainesville for the Bob Barker auction, for those of you who do not know him, he was a founder of AHRMA and was a key player in getting CanAm into racing. He died last August and his wife held an estate sale to auction off his entire estate, including all his bikes, shop equipment, and the building he spent his life in restoring bikes. I traveled up with Scott Turner my buddy who got me involved with racing and we had a great time. Highlights of the auction included a 1924 Indian Scout which sold for $34,000. There were two Norton Manx that went for north of $20K also.
I felt completely overwhelmed having $2K in my pocket until this 1966 HD Aermacchi Legerro 65 hit the block. I had to have it, it was in good shape, and my wife (the pit bitch lol) said go for it. I snagged it for $700 and felt like a king.
Been ordering a ton of NOS stuff to restore it and will keep this thread going with pics. Just struggling with time to work on it, just got back from the races at NOLA in New Orleans, rain, wind, sucked!
Heading up to in June to race Gingerman and Road America, will be also racing at Taledega and Barber, life is good. Take time to be grateful for what you have in this life, it's the only one you have. See you guys in May at the Gap meet......
