When my friend Kyle bought this bike we liked it a lot and it is a gas to ride but it needed to look more like the original Z1 since it was painted that way and has four pipes. I took the engine out and painted it black and then polished the covers and edged the fins. I think it looks better now.

Awesome job, I always wondered what an H2 motor would be like in a Zephyr like that one?
Did you bomb the whole motor in one piece and then fancy it up?

They would have sold if the price hadn't been so high for what it was.........

Yup, I even left the oil lines on and masked them. It actually wasn't too bad. I made the mounts for the car engine stand and it made it real easy. I scrubbed it with purple cleaner and sprayed it off with water in a weed sprayer and then wiped it all down with prepsol, tacked it and sprayed the black. I buffed out all the covers and threw it back together. I actually rode it yesterday for a half hour(it was 38 degrees). :D

It is now my most favorite bike to ride. The front brakes almost got me in a little trouble on the dirty streets though, they work a little better than what I'm used to.
