Spent all day yesterday putting V blade on 6400 John Deere so we can get to the river farm 3 miles away and feed the Baby Mommas in case V-Dot takes a while to get to us. Propped up shop roof and put big scraper blade on Kubota M8950 DT. Changed oil on Assault Wagon prior to putting up the poles for the shop roof. Went to Airport and got 15 gallons of 100 LL for the chainsaw, generators and snow blower. We are as ready as we are gonna get. Hope I don't have to call off work tomorrow but it aint lookin too good.
Heading out now to feed the Baby Mommas here at home, chop ice on the pond and see if I can think of anything else to prep. We have plenty of groceries and a bottle of Red Stag Bourbon so we should be OK 8-) 8-) 8-) NO wind yet but it's 19 Deg F and the sky is gray. She's a comin'

Hang tight - we know you're prepared. The Boy Scouts had it right.

Yeah, it looks like you're going to get a bunch, Tim. We're on the edge of it, and will get a lot less, but have the risk of ice, which is why I checked my supply of diesel fuel for the generator yesterday. Good luck!

You had me concerned with your prep list. I kept reading and thinking........he ain't gonna be ready, he ain't gonna be ready. Then you listed the Bourbon, OK, he's good to go. Here in central CT they haven't got a clue. Could be a foot, could be nothing, I should have become a Weatherman.

Fine ice pellets falling here now, which is OK. At least it's frozen when it hits, and bounces off trees and power lines. 36 inches! That's a nightmare. The last bad one we had here was about 16 years ago (?) when I awoke to 20 inches, and it was so cold that it didn't start to melt for a week.
