A friend picked this up, had some fun and then it stopped shifting. He didn't have time to mess with it so gave it to me.
Problems:
Won't shift.
Leaking oil all over the place.
Throttle sticking, not original.
Brakes shoes worn out scraping the drum.
Handle bar welded..... poorly.
Headlight bucket bent broken not working.
No tail light assembly.
Wiring cut/hacked.
Points pitted and condenser bolted to the coil.
Leaking crank seals.
Leaking shift shaft seal.
That's just what I can remember off the top of my head. lol
Figured I'd post some pics of the rebuild as it goes along.
Oh I hated to see the poor little bike being molested like this so I had to have it. I think it did start briefly before it gasped it's last breath and I thanked the motorcycle gods for putting it out of it's misery.
