I have #85 so quite an early bike. I wonder how much he would give me for the whole bike? He prices are absolutely ridiculous and simply out of touch with reality.

It looks nicer in the pictures than it really is. Sadly its missing lots of the parts that were unique to the '72s like ribless carbs, fork legs and cast in vacuum ports in the head. I watched the build of your bike and I was very impressed.

I believe that the fork legs on the '72s have a ridge in the casting near the caliper lugs that is not present from mid '73 onwards. Someone like Rick B would provide a better description. They tend to go for about a grand on the open market when you can find them. If this guy has a set then you are looking a thousands of millions of dollars.

Most obvious difference is at the reflector, fender mount lugs. The later forks have a much smoother appearance (on the sides) than the early ones.
