In my continuing quest for enlightenment I discovered something I was unaware of until yesterday. I am doing a charity poker run today with the Wingmen MC and was tasked to bring not one but two cases of Bud Light (swill in my opinion, I am a Yengling man myself)
Then came the problem of toting said swill on the Road King for the 85 mile jaunt to the site of the run in Fredericksburg, VA. Lo and behold a factory HD saddle bag is expertly engineered to hold a case of cans... potato potato...

Off to the run more later

Well, one does require "space" to carry along the anti-dehydration fluids needed to survive between when a Hogley Doggleson breaks down, and the "chase truck" arrives to pick up mess of non-engineered, non- functional slag metal, and completely blotto "rider". Not good 'engineering'.....only self preservation.

Drill holes so the water drains out.... You can see this from time to time at the local establishments .... You think "what is leaking"!

I ride my old sportster the same as I ride all the others. It's actually pretty reliable and doesn't mark its spot in the garage.

Excuse the daylights out of me for having a different personal opinion than you, sir.

I own 4 Harley bikes, 1909, 1911, 1945 and 1973. 2 are dirt trackers, 1 is a military w/side car, the last is a factory road race team bike.

Opinion is one thing. Disprepect is another. I will not debate this further with you. Persist and I will ban you.
