"Hi,

I have a chopper with a 1973 Honda CB750 chopper engine and I would like your help in restoring it and getting it passed by the DMV.

It's not running, the carbs need to be cleaned

The petcock has to replaced because it is leaking

Rear turn signals need to be installed

Most of the electrical system needs work.

Also, if I buy a new handlebar, how much would it cost for you to replace the current handlebar?

You would have to be able to come to Santa Monica to work on the bike, because I don't have a truck.

Please provide me with a quote for your work, happy to pay you fairly and also provide pizza & beer for the project / party haha.Thanks for your time."

Right, and I can't imagine that the guy's idea of "happy to pay you fairly" will coincide with the actual effort that's going to be required to get that thing going. He's hoping a fellow stoner is going to come by, get it in good shape, drink beer and eat pizza, ask for $20, and everyone's going to be happy.
