It's unofficial but my neighbor sent a picture of our court a policeman friend took - as unreal as it seems - the fire burned all around our court! Up to my backyard fence - and all around us - amazing! We're still evacuated and probably won't get back for a long while yet - but the H2 is saved!!!! Thank you everyone for keeping me and mine in your thoughts and prayers.

That's good news, I noticed a hydrant in a picture you took. Do you know if the water system was still pressurized? If it was that may of been your saving grace.

Barry called here earlier and told me about his house being spared. I think I was more relieved than he was. He's going to have some barren landscapes to look at for a year or two.

Has the fire been diverted from Barry's house/ neighborhood? Good report thus far and will hope for continued good news.

Evans, yes, that's what he meant at the top of this page... the fire went right up to his back fence but didn't burn his house. He believes that it's moved on and he's in the clear.
