We had such a great time growing up riding dirt bikes, I couldn't wait to get out of school so we could all meet and ride the different tracks we had out in the fields, seems like the trails were endless near my childhood home. Great memories

Great pictures guys :D

i don't see why the people seem to think they need 800/1200 cc adventure bikes .
i would think that a 250/350 enduro bike would be better suited to %95 of the trips.
especially the less experienced riders.

always talked about doing the trans-continental divide ride (canada to mexico).
maybe one day.

I'm with you, Mark. I'm a fairly recent convert to small bikes. Something like a KTM 390 "Adventure" would be my choice for anything that had rough offroad terrain.

i think there is a maxim of "the heavier the terrain, the lighter the bike."
and the KTM is a great choice.
