Even 40 miles at highway speed would be OK for the average urban commuter. My longest commute was about 25 miles each way, and I could have plugged it in at work to recharge. I would have gotten good use from an electric motorcycle like this back in those days.

But for my more recent riding, which is sometimes as little as 40 at a time, but usually more like 100-120 miles at a time, it would be useless. Maybe in another ten years...

53 miles on a charge, that is stellar, compared to 3 miles at a time, between complete rebuilds after stopping dead in their tracks on the gasoline V Twins.

Just saw a news article on TV about the "introduction", by invitation only. I wonder how many poseurs will crash that party.

They sound better than a Harley! I heard a clip on the radio, sounds like a turbine spooling up... A definite improvement!

Jay rules...............

I envision the pot bellies putting cards on the forks to make "noise", like we used to do on our bicycles blubbering against the spokes.

Or comes with fake noise emitted from hidden speaker from closed loop cd. Glug glug glug.
