I haven't done the update yet. I'll have to go to the gopro website and see what the update does.

Good luck....

Why was wind nosy an issue on your unit Barry? My GP really filters out the wind well at all mounting positions I've tried.

I have a sound problem also, I guess going fast is the problem......

I think...I saw something in the manual about how to handle high speed sound issues.....may have been a particular setting.

YouTube for me/bb

Here's wind reduction - still have some when I turn my head looking for copspots but with foam it reduces most of the wind noise.

Fast forward to the 6 min point.

Test rides today......

I'm hoping the "Spot Meter" takes care of this....Helmet mount: rolled bike out of a dark garage into the bright sunlight. Went for a ride. Resulting video is a good look at the garage and complete white-out once outside. Most cameras I've seen recover from this but the GoPro didn't.

Handlebar mount on the BMW sux...too much low freq movement.
Helmet mount worked very well.

Have to try a frame mount on the Beemer.

The camera does much better in full light, I not sure why it didn't didn't adjust moving from indoors to outside. Rigid points on the bike do make the best mounting place.
Handle bars never work good for me. Did you get the suction cup mount? It works great. My 6th episode of OFOTS shows a number of mounting points. What I like best is to mount the camera low and on centerline of the bike. That location emphasizes the lean angle and speed the best.
