$3600.00 is on the higher end for an 1100, considering you can get into a 1200 for the same money.

The bike in your pic looks nice though and the MUZZY exhaust will add a horsie or two when jetted properly.

....and there is no such thing as an Eddie Lawson edition.

That's hilarious, Maybe he signed it or put a sticker on it.
It does seem high. I'll pass I suppose. Thanks for the education.

Jim,

That was actually in 2007, almost 6 years ago! :eh: :shh: Not two yrs. I also enjoyed riding your H2 that day and that ride on your H2 also sold me on modifying my stock H2 to chambers, etc. I'd forgotten what it was like to have a hot rod H2 and no looking back now! 8-)

To this day my 03 Blue 1200 ZRX was the best motor I ever sat under. Pulled like a frieght train down low and kept going. Even better than my FJR 1300. Bulletproof and 52mpg on the highway two up. It's downfall for me was the weight/handleing. I didn't want to spend big bucks transforming the suspension with no guarantee I be happy with it then either. I had mine set up for long distance, gel seat, lowered pillion pegs, top case, soft bags and it was perfect for that task. Some folks regear to get the in line four buzz out of the way.

Yeah; I do have a small problem with time distortion :banghead
Think I would have made different financial moves in 2007 now that you mention it.
I do remember that even though the ZRX is a lot heavier than a triple, it didn't feel that way on the road.
How bad is muscling that bad boy around the garage?

For the zrx owners, how much does the small fairing do for the bike? I have seen a couple with a round headlamp conversion, I belived they used parts form a Kawasaki zr7. Imo, I really liked the look of the round headlamp over the fairing.

I added a SS-28 fairing to my 1993 ZR1100 and it helped extend my riding season by two or three months

The stock fairing is for the period look and does nothing to help wind buffeting. I AM over 6' tall, so maybe smaller riders would be better off. I never did see how fast that bike could go because of windblast.... Got it to do 125!
