Try to find one rx in turbo.. I can tell ya there quite the rush.. I'd love to find a twin turbo someday..

The guy says he's not sure if he wants another headache and you tell him to find a rx7 with a turbo

Theres nothing complex about the turbo on an rx at least on the turbo 11's w/ the 13b Which is what I owned..Would smoke any triple in the 1/4 thats for certain.. Only thing to watch on the turbo is the oiler line as same with all turbo's.. and over use of wot can heat them redhot. thats when the small hairline cracks appear and power loss.. Lots would ceramic line the turbo housing which seemed to be a realiable fix..And if turbo eventually fails. well then ya have an rx7 ;)

I buy and sell bikes, that's satisfies my desire to work on bikes and my need to have more than one. Build your toys on someone else's dime. Use your refund to buy your first flip and build it up. I don't hit a home run every time don't get me wrong, but riding a bike for a few months and then only breaking even is hardly a bummer. Just watch CL and the deals will pop up and act fast. A month ago I replied to a Harley big twin ad and the old man gave it to me! Wouldn't take a dime. Sold it for a grand the next day. The other advice might be to sit on the cash a month and see if you still want it. If you do go for it.

No I don't own a rx7, never have. It is not the complexity of the turbo system. From what I have read the mazda rotatory is not the most reliable engine out there(I think mostly seal problems), adding a turbo would only make matters worse.
