About 6 weeks ago I sold a pile of early H1 parts for a friend on ebay. He did pretty well but not near what things were going for even a few months ago. I just logged in to sell a part the other night and a halt was put on until I gave a credit card part number for PayPal refunds so I just stood down to think about that. Then yesterday I went to add funds to my PayPal from the bank and they put a hold on until i fax them a photo id or some SSN verification......this an account that is eons old with the same info from the first day. I can continue to spend all I want though

Both ebay and paypal have went from a slick/easy way to buy and sell a few things to being more painful and intrusive than the IRS. They seem to want to push everyone out but the stores. I hope someone makes a going concern for competition soon.....if done right ebay will fold like a $10 tent.
They changed the shipping label format, without notice as far as I could tell.
I do not like it, it's new, but it seems slower - taking more time is a bad bad thing. The "upgrade" also changed my settings and labels were printing with the postage amount showing.
Picked up the phone and gave them my nickels worth.
Also found archived sales came back up as being sold - data corruption I called it when when speaking to them about that -
The last thing they need to be doing is making anything more complicate or less efficient.
I do not agree that they want to work everyone out but the stores. There is a small segment of sellers who are criminals, pure and simple. They set up accounts and sell items, collect the money and never ship, then try it again and again - those are the ones that I feel are making it harder for the honest people.
It seems worse now that ever, probably due to the fantastic Obama economy. I get at least one call a week for a lower credit limit on my credit card. Wait - they ask me for the card information, come on, my credit card company already knows that - more scammers trying to get credit card info.....
Craigslist, daily, multiple motorcycles with far too cheap of a price. Divorced wife is a common reply, then they try to sink the hook.
Criminals,
