My Daddy passed away this morning at 1025 AM after a long battle with cancer. He was 86 and fought hard to the end. No tougher or better man ever lived and I can only pray one day I will be 1/2 the man he was. Thank God he only needed pain meds the last two days of his life...His girlfriend Nancy and I were holding his hand when he died. My son Jesse was there as well. Cindy had gone home to rest after a sleepless night. We will be using Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal, VA 22630. Arrangements will be finalized ths afternoon. Contributions to the local food bank and Warren County Humane Society are what he said he wanted in lieu of flowers. Thanks you to all my 2 stroke bretheren for your love and prayers.

I never met your dad Tim -- but I met you at the Gap some years ago, and I know he had to be very proud of his son. The apples don't don't fall far from the tree. My sincere condolences.

So sorry to hear Tim........

One of the hardest things to go through. He is in a better place, pain free. And now can see everything you are up to!

Can't ask for better than 86 and glad you were there at the end/beginning!

Loosing your father, regardless of his age, is probably the most difficult experience you will ever have, my prayers and condolences to you and your family.

Tim... I am so sorry for your loss. I remember your posts on the old board about you moving to help take care of him in his final years. That is what a good son does, and you know that he appreciated it more than words.
