Of course, you need an impact for loosening.........And they have battery impact drivers too

Milwaukee cordless m18 and m12, tools are the best IMHO
The 3/8 cordless ratchet and 3/8 impact are sweet and make quick work of anything,
I just picked up the Milwaukee 1/2 cordless impact @ 475 ft lbs of torque, I haven't found a bolt that didn't deserve its head being snapped off :D
I seriously hate firing up the noisy compressor and waiting!!!! :banghead

Just came back from NHRA qualifying at Maple Groove.
Tried out a MAC and DeWalt 3/8" electrics; they even share the same battery.
The rep said that the 12V and 20V have about the same torque specs but the bigger battery mean longer run time.
They only had air Milwakees; pretty sure that most air guns are heavier than the electric equivalent guns in this size range.

The guy said that there tire shops know use the 3/8" body electric body with a 1/2" anvil as the 1/2 Mac electric claims to be over 700 ft/lbs in reverse. Not sure if I believe that claim. He did say that all the guns are rated for reverse torque and that install torques is usually 20% less.

The 12V DeWalt with 2 batteries, charger, and carry bag can be found for about $120 delivered.
Should be a good fit for my light duty requirements.
