I want to change the old, dried out tires on my 1969 50cc Garelli Rekord.
Right now, Kenda 80/90-18 45P on 1.60X18" rims are on the bike.
They are not bad ( looking) tires, but I want Italian Pirelli tires on this small Italian motorcycle...
I can't find a site to compare metric and inch size tires, unfortunately...
Anyway, the front tire should be close to the existing size, on the rear, there is some space to go a little wider.
I found these: Pirelli City Demon 2.75-18MC 42P Front
Pirelli City Demon 3.00-18 MC 52P reinf. TL. rear.
Do they fit, and do they stay close to the existing size?

25.4mm = 1" so a 2.75" is 25.4 x 2.75 = 70mm And 3.00 is 25.4 x 3.00=76mm

OK, so I need wider tires, right?
How about 300-18MC 47 S Front ( slightly less wide than stock)
And rear: 3.25-18MC 52S, slightly wider than stock ( 2,55mm difference).
Do you know if these will fit on 1,60" rims?

The bigger ones will work fine. A few mm is not a big deal.
