Hi,

last Friday we had a fotosession with a German magazine, because they want to write a story about my 68TT and my friends 69TT.

All the best from Germany
Ralf

Yes JP,
it's a real 69 model, only the rear box (cover) over the mufflers is missing. Ultra rare part. But they build some more.
the 69 model starts in late 68 so nobody could tell you if they build 30, 40 or whatever of these bikes. I also have on
69 model, but not restored yet. The complete numbers of scrambler 68 and 69 together is 624 as I remember exactly.

Regards
Ralf

Interesting advertising at the time, the brochure (that I can't find) showed the clip on silencer that could be removed for a sportier sound 8-)

Yes, Rick you could be very happy because these are ultra rare parts. The pipes from my 68 TT are like the originals, but also the covers are different. Our pipes are repro's from Japan. Perfect fitment and measurements, but they don't make the original covers because it's too expensive, because of the pressed steel, you need forms and the market is to small for such expensive repros.

Regards
Ralf
