This is true. Where I grew up the hills were so steep and long, when your ball rolled down the hill you just said "screw it"...

It appears that they proved that it didn't work.

HP gain from swapping a 350 for the 305, DUH!
When they did get all 5 blowers running they claimed a torque number but stopped quoting hp.

Then at the track they ran back to back with and without blowers. There was only about 2 mph difference - which could be caused by lots of things.

It doesn't work kids. It was a great effort but they could not show pressure on the boost gauge. Imagine what they could have done with the $1600 they spent on the blowers. A belt drive blower kit . . .

This was a blast to watch and would have been fun to do.
